What is Masters Rowing?
The sport of rowing is one of the premier forms of exercise – it uses all of the major muscle groups and provides aerobic conditioning and strength training. It also provides a sense of teamwork, camaraderie and purpose. Whether you’re competitive or out for a little fun and exercise, we’ve got a place for you.
Open to all those age 19 and above, come spend some time with us on beautiful Lake Whatcom!
Please keep in mind it is the coaches discretion as to which class they believe would suit you and the program best. You will need to complete and have a coach sign off on moving to the recreational class. The same goes for the competitive class. If you decided to move to the competitive class, invite a coach to watch just you and the coaches will decide if it works or if more one on one coaching is required to move you into that class.
Become a WRA Member! Perks are the ability to use WRA equipment off class time, sign up for coached classes (with additional class fees) use of our indoor equipment and ability to sign up for Regattas!
Family memberships are available for families of 2 or more rowers.
